Tasting Notes:
The 2023 vintage of Peter Max Pinot Noir displays aromas of red cherry, cranberry, rose and lavender. The palate is dense and focused with fine, grippy tannins lending further structure and depth to the weight of fruit.
Other Notes: Another brilliant Pinot Noir from South Africa’s Crystallum winery, the 2019 vintage was produced with grapes sourced from four different vineyards. The grapes are naturally fermented, with half of the fruit de-stemmed, and the other half left as whole clusters, resulting in some nice structured tannins. A winner when paired with roasted meats.
