The base alcohol of this plum wine is a five-year-old spirit fermented from rice, commonly referred to as Shochu or Kuma Shochu. The aroma of aged rice shochu harmonizes beautifully with the fresh scent of one-year-aged plum wine, creating a refreshing flavour.
Oyama “The First” Ultra-Premium Japanese Umeshu is a blend of plum wine made from Ohshukubai plums and five-year-old spirits produced by Rokuchoshi Shuzo.
